Gergely Kohlmann is the Medical Support Specialist at Maryland Addiction Recovery Center. In this position, he is responsible for ensuring that patients are safe and following their daily schedules within the facilities policies and procedures with the standards of State and Federal Regulation. As the Medical Support Specialist, Gergely is focused on the medical aspects of the operations, specifically patient medications, through medication schedule accountability, medication reorders, communication with MARC’s internal medical team, and providing administrative support to the Medical Services Coordintor. Prior to joining MARC, Gergely spent his professional career in a variety of management and leadership roles in the hospitality industry, most recently as the Director of Training and Operations Development for a growing local restaurant group in the Baltimore area. His change in careers was came from the recognition in a passion for supporting others as they overcome life’s challenges. His own journey of mental wellness allowed him to experience the incredible benefits of therapy and he believes it was mental health professionals that supported him helped to ultimately change and better his life. Outside of work, Gergely enjoys spending time with his wife, his two children, traveling, and watching futbol (or what Americans called soccer.)
