Laurie Wollman is the clinical director at Maryland Addiction Recovery Center, and her impressive academic and clinical resume makes her a phenomenal fit for what we do here at MARC.

She has previously worked in a variety of treatment settings, from educational and outpatient to residential. While Laurie started her career as a therapist providing individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents, she has spent the greater part of her career in management roles, providing clinical supervision, program management, and oversight in facilities that offer a higher level of care.

Most recently, she oversaw partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs that provided comprehensive eating disorder treatment services throughout multiple locations in the Maryland and Washington, D.C., area, as well as virtual treatment programming for the northeast region of the United States.

As the Clinical Director at Maryland Addiction Recovery Center, Laurie is responsible for the clinical management and supervision of MARC offerings. She oversees the clinical team and all program development for all MARC treatment programs and coordinates collaborative care alongside our Executive Director, Medical Director, Director of Admissions, Director of Support Services, and Director of Compliance.

Our Editorial Guidelines

Part of the journey from substance use disorder into recovery is education. At MARC, we believe the best way to serve our addiction and recovery community is to create and elevate content, resources, curriculum, and other educational materials according to an established editorial standard.

Our aim is to activate and restore hope by sharing current, helpful, accurate, and practical data that applies to our patients and their loved ones.
