Maura Maguire is the Director of Admissions at Maryland Addiction Recovery Center. Maura, along with the entire admissions team, is the first point of contact when a family member or an individual seeking treatment reaches out to MARC seeking help. Prior to her employment at MARC, Maura worked as the Director of Client Services at a substance use disorder treatment facility in Bel Air, MD where she served as the liaison between the clinical and residential staff, provided supervision and guidance to the residential employees, and worked directly with clients in order to provide the best possible care for those struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders.
At MARC, Maura works alongside the rest of the admissions team, working in collaboration with the clinical and medical team as well as outside professional referents, family members of those seeking help and incoming patients to make the intake process as smooth and efficient as possible. Additionally, she offers ongoing supervision to the admissions staff and has her Alcohol and Drug Trainee (ADT) status. Outside of work, Maura enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her two cats.
