Maryland Addiction Recovery Center is proud and humbled to recently have been named as a finalist by the Baltimore Business Journal for its 2020 Best Places to Work in Baltimore awards. MARC passed through several layers of submissions and approvals to be listed as a top ten finalist in the Small Business category for the 2020 awards.
According to the Baltimore Business Journal, finalists were announced after months of surveys of employees from organizations offering their experience, insight, and opinions on what makes the local organizations a great place to work. The list of finalists in all categories “includes a broad range of Baltimore-area firms and institutions, from media to early childhood learning to healthcare to real estate and finance.”
40 finalists were announced by the Baltimore Business Journal, ten each in the following categories: Micro Business, Small Business, Medium Business, and Large Business. Maryland Addiction Recovery Center was named a finalist in the “Small Business” category, alongside local business Belay Technologies, cloudtamer.io, Eleven Peppers Studios, Heritage Financial Consultants, LLC, Independent Security Evaluators, Insperity, Moser Consulting, Inc., Phoenix- OPS Group, and Silverman Thompson Slutkin and White. The employee surveys were conducted by Baltimore Business Journal partner, research firm Quantum Workplace. The finalists will be announced at an event held by the Baltimore Business Journal on September 24th, 2020.
This is the second year in a row that Maryland Addiction Recovery Center was named as a finalist for the Baltimore Business Journal’s Best Places to Work. MARC also made the list as a top ten finalist for the “Small Business” category as a Best Places to Work in Baltimore in 2019.
