Maryland Addiction Recovery Center, located in Baltimore County, MD and the leading authority in comprehensive dual diagnosis addiction treatment in Maryland, is a innovative boutique addiction treatment facility that offers convenient, flexible IOP addiction treatment to Baltimore County and the surrounding areas. MARC offers adult and teen alcohol and drug abuse treatment as well as a medically supervised opiate detox all on an outpatient level of care.

Here at MARC, we believe in bringing the same high quality, comprehensive substance abuse treatment someone would receive at an expensive inpatient or residential treatment center setting to an outpatient level of care for the local Baltimore, Maryland area. We offer both morning and evening IOP programs and a teen drug abuse treatment program, “Recovery After 3”. All IOP treatment includes group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy and, if needed, doctor’s visits for detox and medication management.

DAYTIME IOP ADDICTION TREATMENT

Our daytime intensive outpatient (IOP) addiction treatment is our most intensive level of IOP treatment. Groups meet four times a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) from 9:00am-12:00pm. Patients are also scheduled for AT LEAST one individual therapy session with their primary therapist, a Master’s Level staff clinician.

EVENING IOP ADDICTION TREATMENT

Our evening intensive outpatient (IOP) addiction treatment is a bit less intensive, typically for a working professional in need of treatment but still employed and unable to attend daytime groups or who may need a less intensive level of care. Groups meet three times a week (Monday, Tuesday and Friday) from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Patients are also scheduled for one individual therapy session with their primary therapist, a Master’s Level staff clinician.

All patients in both daytime and evening IOP alcohol and drug treatment are monitored through drug testing using a 12 panel drug testing cup as well as laboratory confirmation for clinical follow up. For opiate detox patients, Maryland Addiction Recovery Center utilizes Suboxone on short term, detox protocol under the care of MARC’s Medical Director. All patients in need of detox are assessed and an individualized detox protocol is created. All detox patients must be enrolled in MARC’s IOP treatment in order to be seen by the Medical Director.
