Maryland Addiction Recovery Center is Now In-Network with Kaiser Permanente
We are proud to announce that Maryland Addiction Recovery Center is now an in-network provider for Kaiser Permanente! As of October 15th, 2023, MARC will participate with Kaiser Permanente as an in-network provider for individuals and family members suffering from substance use disorders covered by Kaiser Permanente insurance.
This new insurance contract with Kaiser Permanente is the first ever in-network contract for Maryland Addiction Recovery Center, and this new partnership with Kaiser Permanente will allow MARC to expand its comprehensive treatment services to more individuals suffering from addiction at a more affordable price. Individuals and family members that are part of the Kaiser Permanente network located in the Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia area will now be able to more affordably access all levels of MARC treatment programs for care related to substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders, including extended care, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient.
For more than 75 years, Kaiser Permanente has been providing high-quality health care and coverage to individuals and families. According to the Kaiser Permanente website, Kaiser Permanente health plans are “rated among the nation’s best for overall treatment, prevention, and patient experience by the National Committee for Quality Assurance.” Kaiser Permanente health insurance covers over 12 million lives nationally, and is available in California, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Georgia, Hawaii, Maryland, Oregon, Virginia, and Washington.

The in-network partnership between Maryland Addiction Recovery Center and Kaiser Permanente will make treatment at MARC for those suffering from addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders more accessible and affordable. Individuals suffering from substance use disorder face many barriers to seeking and receiving help, including stigma, shame, guilt, and judgement. Financial barriers can often be just one more hindrance between a person needing help for addiction and actually receiving it. With this new in-network contract with Kaiser Permanente, Maryland Addiction Recovery Center is doing its part in removing barrier of care for those that need it.
